On June 21, 1969 in Chicago, IL our world was graced with the birth of Tracy LeLand Jones to the union of William R. (who preceded him in death) and Lena M. Jones. Tre’ was the baby boy of four sons. |

| At four years old Tracy was baptized at St. Marys’ A.M.E. Church. He was a member of the Jr. Usher Board, the Youth Department, The June Club and The Mens cCub. As an adult, anything asked of him by his church he tried his best to do. Tracy was also a member of “Gods Gang” started at St. Marys’. |

Tracy graduated from Wendell Smith Elementary and Julian High Schools. During his teen years he was a member of The Paul Hall Boys Club and Arthur Robinson’s South Shore Drill Team, where he and his brother Maurice were two of the first members; thereby having the opportunity to be in the movie “Ferris Buellers Day Off”.
Tre continued his education by attending I.S.U where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi and later became a Masonic brother. He graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in Social Science. Having been introduced by his mother to the finer things in life and travel, Tracy set a path for himself to acquire them. He became a social worker for the State of Illinois as a therapeutic consultant. He also worked with Family Link Child and Family Connections, Wood-Kelly Youth Services, Chicagoland Early Intervention, Youth Campus, PSI, Little Feat, Sullivan House and Easter Seal. He was an assistant to Katie’s Kitchen, Jason’s Catering and worked with Keyes Catering to service President Clintons’ staff and the press at his visit to Englewood High School.

While working with his youth groups, Tre found time to pursue the bug that bit him in college (comedy and acting!). He performed with the improv group “Eight Degrees Below Normal”, was vice president of “Actin’ Up” performance troupe, president and co-founder of “Black Market” Acting Troupe, and he was vice president of JB Productions, producing and marketing comedy shows.
Tracy was also a stand-up comic, talent coordinater, writer, directer and actor performing in movies such as “Freddie’s Dead”, “Exodus” and the critically acclaimed “One week”. He also appeared in a national Red Lobster commercial with Tom Joyner (102.7). Tre was also the president of P.T. Memorials & Monuments. When Tre’ found spare time he loved to play golf & basketball among other activities.
The greatest joy of his life was his daugther Kaylah and the love of his life was his fiance Maxxi.

On June 5, 2006 our world was saddened with Tracy’s sudden transition to eternity. He leaves to remember all the love, laughter and his teachings; his mother Lena, daughter Kaylah Dawn, fiance` Maxxi Davis ~Brothers Raymond (Barbara), Brian (Debbie), Maurice (Michelle) ~ four nephews, six nieces, grandmother Blanche Hardin, five aunts, five uncles, four great aunts, 1 great uncle, cousins, great cousins, great-great cousins,great-great-great cousins ~ London Towne family and many, many friends. His living was not in vain!!!
